The Topper Lid has a frame fitted to the underside to raise above the existing lid recess, this allows the topper lid to be wide enough for the wire cage to sit comfortably on top. This wire cage is fastened securely to the topper lid, access is then provided through the large full size lid at the top and the two smaller hatches on the one side.
 
The smaller end lid allows for quick, easy access into the enclosure without taking the large topper off. There is a handle on one side to allow for ease of lifting off.
