- Main frame (please refer to Material section for full details) glued at each joint for extra security and screwed together.
- Underside of rear frame has a 14mm wide and 10mm deep recess around each side. This is to allow the topper to sit over and on top of edge of the glass enclosure, ensuring it is safely located and cannot be moved or knocked off.
- Top face of upper frame has a raised edge to allow existing lids to fit to top of of topper. This replicates the top edge of the glass tank.
- Enclosed on sides and rear with 6mm square mesh.
- Full height and wide, dual hinged front doors for easy access. Complete with 6mm square mesh
- All mesh uses mounted retaining frames to retain in position and to ensure sharp mesh edges are concealed
- Internal lower frame edges are covered with aluminium angle all around to prevent chewing of the wood frame
- Internal door stops so doors sit flush with external frame.
- Swing latches (not shown) to keep doors closed.
- Toggle latches (not shown) to keep lid closed.
- Two large lower, fixed height shelves/platforms which can be slid from side to side to suit layout or completely removed if preferred. Each have an aluminium edging strip to prevent chewing on the exposed platform edge.
